What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to Saker mobile applications, saker.fit, the Saker web builder, and related cloud-backed services operated by SAKER Systems ("Saker," "we," "our," or "us"). It explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and what choices you have.

Saker is an account-based, cloud-backed product. Some features work only when you are signed in and connected to the internet.

Information We Collect

  • Account and authentication data, such as your email address, password login, session data, and account status.
  • Profile data, such as your username, display name, avatar or profile image, bio, and app preferences.
  • Training, nutrition, and related wellness data you create or store in Saker, including plans, workouts, exercise selections, nutrition targets, notes, and imported history.
  • Health and fitness connection data that you choose to connect or import, including supported Apple Health, Health Connect, Hevy, Strong, and MacroFactor data flows.
  • Social and user-generated content, including posts, comments, reports, uploaded images, and content you share with other users.
  • Location or place data if you use weather-aware or location-aware features, or if you manually provide a location for supported features.
  • Support and operational data, such as emails you send us, service logs, IP address, browser or app environment details, and abuse-prevention records.

How We Use Information

  • Create and authenticate accounts, maintain sessions, and sync data between supported mobile and web surfaces.
  • Store, organize, import, and display your training, nutrition, event, and profile data.
  • Provide community and sharing features, including profile surfaces, posts, comments, and shared event pages.
  • Process image uploads and other user content you choose to submit.
  • Provide weather-aware or location-aware experiences when you choose to use those features.
  • Review abuse reports, moderate content, enforce our Terms, and protect users and the service.
  • Respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.

Cloud Storage, Imports, and User Content

Saker uses cloud infrastructure, including Supabase-backed authentication, database, and storage services, to run account, sync, and content features. Depending on the feature you use, we may store account records, training data, shared content, and uploaded files in cloud systems we control through our service providers.

If you choose to connect Apple Health or Health Connect, or import data from services such as Hevy, Strong, or MacroFactor, we process the data you authorize us to receive. Those third-party platforms are separate services with their own privacy practices.

If you upload images or publish social content, that content may be visible to other users based on the feature, your sharing choices, and our moderation rules.

How We Share Information

  • With cloud and infrastructure providers that help us operate authentication, storage, hosting, and support workflows.
  • With other users when you choose to publish, share, or otherwise make profile or social content visible.
  • With reviewers or admins when content is reported or needs moderation, safety review, or abuse investigation.
  • When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

Ads and Analytics

We do not currently use third-party advertising networks in Saker, and we do not sell your personal information. We also do not currently run third-party analytics SDKs in the product. Our hosting, authentication, and storage providers may still generate limited operational logs needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

Retention and Deletion Requests

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, enforce our Terms, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Retention can vary by data type, and some moderation or safety records may be kept longer than ordinary profile content.

Signed-in users can request deletion of their Saker account and app-controlled cloud data at /delete-account. Public details about the deletion scope are available at /account-deletion. If you cannot access your account, email support@saker.fit from the email address on your account so we can help verify ownership.

Deleting your Saker account does not automatically delete copies of data held in Apple Health, Health Connect, Hevy, Strong, MacroFactor, or other third-party systems. Those systems are managed separately by their providers.

Your Choices and Security

You can manage some profile, sharing, and connection settings inside the app or web experiences we provide. You can also contact us if you need help with account or data questions. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version here and revise the date above.
